How brows heal.
- Days 1 to 4
Bold, dark and a little tender. Completely normal.
- Days 5 to 7
Itchy and flaking. Let flakes fall on their own.
- Days 7 to 14
Looks too light. Color is still settling under the skin.

Color resurfaces, soft and natural.
- Week 6
Touch-up to layer color and refine the shape.
Before your appointment
- No alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours.
- No aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, fish oil or vitamin E for 48 hours. On a prescribed blood thinner? Check with your doctor first.
- No waxing or tinting for 3 days.
- No Botox for 3 weeks and no chemical peels for 60 days.
- Pause retinol and acid serums near your brows.
- Skip tanning and hard workouts on the day.
- Bring photo ID and a picture of brows you love.
Aftercare
- Keep brows completely dry for 7 days, or until flakes fall away.
- Don't pick, scratch or rub. Try not to sleep on your brows.
- Use only the aftercare product we give you.
- No workouts for 5 days. No sauna, pools or lakes for 2 weeks.
- No tanning for 4 weeks and no brow makeup for 2 weeks.
- Once healed, SPF 30+ and oil-free products keep color longer.

How long does it take?
Your first visit takes about 1.5 to 3 hours, including the predraw. A touch-up takes about 45 minutes.
Does it hurt?
Most clients describe light scratching. Topical numbing is available unless you're sensitive to it.
How long does it last?
Usually 1 to 3 years, depending on your skin type, sun exposure and aftercare. An annual color boost keeps brows crisp.
Microblading or powder?
Oily skin, mature skin and platinum or very light brows hold powder or combo brows better. Strokes can blur in oily skin. We'll recommend the right style at your predraw.
Who should wait?
Pregnant or nursing clients, anyone on Accutane in the past year, and anyone with a sunburn, rash or breakout near the brows. Some medical conditions, like chemotherapy, heart conditions, diabetes, autoimmune disorders or keloid scarring, need a doctor's note.
